The story of PERLE began in the south of France, where Aura Danton spent her childhood cooking and baking with her godmother. As she grew older, she discovered a profound sense of purpose in creating — food, gifts, and celebrations — for the people around her.
After moving to California, she channeled this enthusiasm into creating her own event planning company as she simultaneously built her career as a pastry chef. She soon sought different opportunities on the East Coast and relocated to New York.
As an executive pastry chef in New York City, she worked alongside renowned Michelin-starred chefs, international restaurateurs, and celebrities in a variety of luxurious establishments. Meanwhile, she found joy in hosting elaborate tea parties for her friends.
She discovered a passion for hosting tea parties and, after meeting photographer Timothy Chu, decided to co-found PERLE by Aura: a company of multi-talented professionals — chefs, photographers, florists, and more — dedicated to bringing your dream tea party to reality.
