The story of PERLE began in the southern countryside of France, where Aura Danton spent her childhood cooking and baking with her godmother. As she grew older, she discovered a profound sense of purpose in creating — food, gifts, and celebrations — for the people around her.
After moving to California, she channeled this enthusiasm into creating her own event planning company as she simultaneously built her career as a pastry chef. As her dreams grew, she soon sought opportunity on the East Coast and relocated to New York.
As an executive pastry chef in New York City, she worked alongside renowned Michelin-starred chefs, international restaurateurs, and celebrities in a variety of luxurious establishments.
At the same time, she found joy in planning elaborate events for her friends. She rekindled her passion for event planning and, after meeting photographer Timothy Chu, decided to co-found PERLE by Aura: a company of multi-talented professionals dedicated to bringing your dream event to reality.
